A decade of designing, building and looking after websites for businesses that had outgrown the template. Plexus is what we built for ourselves along the way.
Our story
From a two-person studio to a platform
We started in 2014 with two developers, one desk and a recurring frustration: every client needed a site that could grow with them, and every off-the-shelf builder made that harder than it needed to be.
So we wrote our own. Plexus began as internal tooling — a way to ship good sites quickly without giving up control — and grew into the platform behind everything we deliver today, from a five-page brochure site to a multi-language catalogue.
We are still small on purpose. The person who designs your site is the person who builds it, and the person who picks up the phone when something breaks.
What we do
Three things, done properly
We would rather be the studio you keep than the one that disappears a week after launch.
Design
Interfaces drawn around what your visitors actually came to do — then tested on the phones they will really use.
Build
Every site ships on Plexus: visual editing with Forge, structured content types and a media library the whole team can work in.
Look after
Hosting, backups, updates and monitoring. You get a number to call, not a ticket in a queue.
